While you can of course migrate all products between environments, StagingPro gives you the flexibility to select specific products to migrate.
If you have not already done so, create a new environment and when selecting the categories to move, make sure products is de-selected. This will create a new, empty store to which you can then populate with only those products you want to use.
From the StagingPro dashboard select “Product Catalogue”.
You will initially be presented with all the products available in the Production environment but you can change this, to select a different environment you want to copy from in the ‘Catalog Source’ dropdown box.
Using the ‘Advanced Filters’ you can choose from a number of different criteria to narrow down specific products and use the tick boxes on the left of each record to select the products you want to use.
Note: you can move to additional pages of search results without needing to save each page.
Once you are happy that you have selected everything you want, click on the “Copy Products” button at the top right of the screen. This will then give you the ability to choose which environment you want to copy these products to.
