store/manage/products/categories

Categories are migrated completely during the store creation process but due to the hierarchical nature of category data, this will lead to categories not being updated/created during the content migration (See “Understanding the Content Migration Screen”).

Although StagingPro will not migrate categories a second time, you are able to create new categories and subcategories and these will be successfully migrated. Creating a new subcategory within an existing hierarchy will however fail.

The following Fields are migrated along with the categories.
